New Private Cremation options
Private Columbaria Niches
We are excited to now offer our families that have chosen cremation options in memorializing their loved one. Woodlawn Memorial Park now offers private columbarium niches in additional to ground burial. Our cremation niches are designed to hold one (1) set of cremated remains, and when purchased come with an urn that can be used that the time of need that is designed to fit perfectly into the niche space. A standard bronze memorial plaque is included with each niche space, although families are able to personalize their loved one's niches with a custom bronze plaque and vase to hold flowers.
Our new columbaria garden has been incorporated into the existing mausoleum structure giving families the option of both under shelter niche spaces, as well as spaces among the beauty of the park.

Now Offering Natural Green Burial
Woodlawn Memorial Park is proud to offer a Natural Burial Section - being one of only two cemeteries in Maryland offering true Natural Burial. Our Natural Burial section - Wildflower Garden - is designed with the natural environment in mind. It is bordered with natural tree lines and split rail fencing, and planted with Maryland native flowers. Wildflower Garden will be maintained as native wildflower meadow with natural trails running through it. Individual graves will be hand dug by our staff, and caskets will be lowered using natural fiber rope during the graveside committal service.
To be buried in Wildflower Garden, loved ones must not be chemically treated in any way (embalmed), must be dressed or shrouded in natural fibers, and must be placed in a biodegradable casket, and may not be encased in an outer burial container of any kind. All graves will be marked with a simple engraved river rock.

About Us
Our History
Founded in 1957 on what was originally Plugge Farm, Woodlawn Memorial Park, LLC. sits on 55 acres just 5 miles outside of Easton, MD on Rte. 50.
In 1981, Woodlawn Memorial Park opened the Garden of Honor – a section dedicated to the burial of veterans and their spouses. Woodlawn Memorial Park continues to be the only private cemetery in Talbot County and the surrounding areas with a section dedicated to honoring those who have proudly served.
In 2018 Woodlawn Memorial Park, Inc. was purchased, and the name was changed to Woodlawn Memorial Park, LLC. The staff and management at Woodlawn are committed to revitalizing the property, creating a place that brings quiet peace to all that visit.
